Technology for mixture of raw materials preparation for candles and candle inserts with the production process and dosing system.

Polish SME operating in paraffin processing and candles production is looking for new technology for mixture of raw materials preparation for candles and candle inserts with the production process and dosing system. The technology should be based on new raw materials other than paraffin and cheaper. The company wants to implement the technology with technical assistance.

Polish SME producing candles and other products from paraffin is interested in new technology designed for different raw material which will be cheaper. Paraffin prices are unstable and depend on the price of oil and USD and UER currency. Paraffin used for candles production is transparent but this is not clean raw material – in the final product the structure is often not homogeneous and precipitating oil can be visible. The company is looking for new material which could substitute paraffin (up to 50%) in mixture for candles production. These materials can be plant oils or even cheaper industrial oils, which when properly hardened (hydrogened) would have consistence similar to paraffin mass.
The company is also interested in the technology of processing this new raw materials (300 – 500 tons per month) which will enable joining of plant oils with natural oil products and will provide proper dosing in proper temperature (plant oils have longer time of cooling and lower temperature of solidification, what influences production time).

Technical Specifications / Specific technical requirements:
The mixture should have properties:
- longer time of burning of candle of about 15-20%
- lower price than candle paraffin
- lower emission of noxious substances (side products of paraffin processing)
- aesthetic look (milk colour)
- short time of solidification
